Welding Shop La Palma:

Tuesday and Wednesday: 3:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday- 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

 

Welding Shop San Bernardino:

Saturday- 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

 

Welding Shop Hours may increase or decrease based on attendance.  Please contact the Apprenticeship if you are unsure of the schedule.  1 (714) 228-9744.

Members please bring your welding gear and PPE.  Instructors will not let you weld if you are not properly prepared. 

 

 

 

Safety Course and Apprentice Courses:

The Unions for Locals 416 & 433 schedule safety classes with the Coordinator.  If there is a class you would like to take register at the Hall.

Classes Offered:

 OSHA 30 – 30 hours

1st Aid CPR- 8 hours

 Forklift- 6 to 8 hour course

 Scaffold User & Scaffold Erector Dismantler- 16 hour course.

Qualified Rigger (pre-requisite: Must have passed Rigging and (Cranes or Structural III) with a score of 70%) – 16 to 20 hour course.

MSHA – At companies or Business agents request. 24 hour course

Lead Hazard- 32 hours

Subpart R- minimum 8 hours.  Usually taught at the end of OSHA 30.

Post-Tensioning- Unbonded and Bonded- Please contact the school there are several Pre-requisites for this course.

Fire/Flagger- 8 hours.

 

Journeymen/women are welcome to attend any class offered to the Apprentice(s).  Please contact the Training Center and we will inform you of the dates available for the class you like to take.
